The Leonhouse is a large estate located east of the French speaking community of Leon. It is currently the residence of Prince James, and Princess Stephanie of Brunant.

History[]

Leonhouse was built between 1830 and 1833 as a residence for the King of Britain, William IV. He was delighted at the house, and often lived in the Leonhouse during the summer. After his death in 1837, it was passed down to Queen Victoria, the following ruling monarch of Great Britain. The Queen decided to sell the residence as she didn't need it, and it was then sold on auction to a rich Kemburger businessman, however his name was not disclosed. Following the sale, the house has been in Private hands until bought by King Edward I as a secondary residence. After King Edward decided he didn't need it, he gave it to his son, Prince James.

The Leonhouse has been renovated several times in recent years, last in 2011, to make the house look more modern.
