Queen Catherine (born 16 July 1976) is the consort of King Edward I and the current Queen of Kemburg. Catherine Amberg was born in Flensburg to Elizabeth Kelly, a Kemburger and Hans Amberg, a descendant of a minor and untitled nobleman.

Biography[]

From her mother's side she is of English and Kemburger origin and from her father she is of German and Brunanter noble ancestry (from the Sneijders).

Catherine came to live in Kemburg in 1988 with her family, as her father was appointed charge d'affaires at the German embassy in Kemburg City. Catherine studied journalism and worked at a newspaper. In 1995, she had a son with Prince Edward, James, and they were married in 1998.

In 2005, her husband, King Edward I became the King of Kemburg following the death of King David I.

Personal life[]

Queen Catherine is married to King Edward I, who is the current ruling monarch of Kemburg. Catherine is often spotted in public, and she is happy to chat with the Kemburger citizens living in Kemburg City.

The Queen is mostly of German origin on her father's side, and English and Kemburger. From her father she is a descendant of the noble Sneijder family of Brunant and is a descendant of painter Blomefont van Stein.
